Can you listen to quran while studying

Scholars had differed on their opinion on wether you have to pay attention during recitation or not. Some scholars had said that listening to the quran while studying, cleaning, cooking, driving, and etc But, we still have to at least have a time of day where we put our full attention towards the quran recitation.

Scholars have different opinions on that, and it is best to follow the scholar that is from the salafiyyah When studying or reading, you are still putting your full attention to the quran.

Short Answer: It isn't haram to listen to quran while studying, cooking, driving, and etc. But, at some times you still have to sit down and listen. It is haram to talk during someone's recitation of the quran.

Will I benefit from it? According this explanation it is preferred to focus on Quran recitation. So, it is not recommended parallel activities. In your case, you are studying and listening. It will be hard for you to concentrate on both at the same time. Though studying is not a disrespectful activity, there are activities that could disrespect Quran while doing in parallel. But it should be noted, not allow to listen to the Quran in the cases of fun or the departure thinking about it, either when going to sleep there is nothing wrong in that..
