How long has nevershoutnever been together
I was a lot more open to ideas from other people than I ever have been, which I feel is me hitting a certain maturity level. I had this epiphany that great things come from a lot of great minds coming together, and I was more open this time.
I think it's cool how it turned out; it's maybe more pop than we expected but I dig it. That plays a huge role in my well-being. The album turned out really happy, it's got a really bright sound to it that makes me excited.
It's the sunshine, constant Vitamin D. We Ok" begins. A confident, upbeat and jangly number with a catchy "we walk our own way" refrain, it sets the tone for the rest of Black Cat to follow.
I connect to that feeling. That song represents a big portion of me figuring my shit out. In contrast to the wall of sound, tucked warmly into the middle of the record, is "Peace Song," featuring just Drew's voice and whistling over ukulele.
What is it like for you to go back and play the songs that got you started? Drew: The funny part is that we're in this together. I'm having the same exact experience. I'm not playing any sad songs, really. This Throw Back Tour has allowed us to rediscover songs we haven't played in forever and see what those songs mean to us now after everything that we've been through, because we've been through a lot as a band and a lot as people. Back then it didn't seem as relevant, but now, where our country's at, where our politics are at, where all these cultural barriers have been put up out of fucking nowhere, things have just amplified.
A lot of other bands who saw big success a decade ago, like Simple Plan and We the Kings, also decided to do anniversary or reunion tours this year. Why did you decide to do it with Never Shout Never? Drew: We've been a band since , and it's now, so my whole kind of view was the closing of a decade.
I've had a lot of synchronicities in my life telling me that it's time to let go of the past and let go of this last decade and start something new and fresh.
This tour just kind of manifested itself. Almost all the shows have sold out, which is so nice. For the people and the fans that haven't listened to us in years and are coming out to these shows, we are reliving this era together.
It's been such a great tour, and it gets me excited for the next decade because we're gonna keep making records and we're going to keep having Warner Bros. Who is Christofer Drew dating? Christopher Drew and Hanna Merjos have been dating since Aug and posted their together photos on Instagram, but they broke up their affair on Zulma Zatarain Professional. How old is Christofer Drew?
Abdela Reitter Explainer. Are fun still together? On February 4, , the band announced on its Facebook page and their official website that they are not splitting up, but are taking some time off to pursue other projects: First and foremost, to answer the question that has been raised most often: Fun is not breaking up.
