How does alliance enter ragefire chasm

I was having the same issue with the instance not letting me in. I made the mistake of putting my gear back on for the final run through the portal. Didn't make it through, and then I couldn't take the gear back off because I'm in combat as soon as I rez. Major repairs : Will go back and try flying all the way again, but there are probably too many guards.

I'm 62 DK, may not be possible at this lvl killing guards sadly not an option. Also not sure if the portal stops me because I'm in combat. Post a Comment. Pages Home Contact. Ahhh, the Ragefire Chasm achievement. In other words it seems damn hard to get into, being right in the middle of Orgrimmar. Well ok, maybe it's not so hard to get inside after all, especially if you are There is one major and proven method: ride in as far as you can. If you can make it to the instance fine, if not, just die, rez, rinse and repeat.

Here is the short story of my attempt to reach RFC. For starters, I ported to Darnassus from Dalaran. Then I grabbed a taxi to the flight point in Azshara. That seemed the shortest route to Orgrimmar after eye-balling a map of Kalimdor. In retrospect I think it might have been faster to port to Stormwind, fly to Booty Bay and from there grab the boat to Ratchet in the Barrens where it's a fairly short trek to Durotar and Orgrimmar.

Now once you get to the gates of Orgrimmar, here's the drill: 1. Take your gear off so it won't break if you die. Study the map of the route. Run like hell on your mount. From there on it's up to you and it depends on your luck if you make it in one go or not. I was lucky and made it even though Orgrimmar was full of players. I guess most people simply do not expect a naked dwarf to ride brazenly right through the middle of their city. Tip: if you are scared of dying inside Orgrimmar, why not wait until a more unpopulated hour to try?

The instance itself is the shortest one I've ever seen and the achievement took about 5 minutes from the moment I stepped inside until I killed Taragaman the Hungerer. What surprised me was the large number of green item drops from the mobs I killed.

Not even Deadmines yielded so many. So there you have it. Although getting there might be a bitch, the achievement itself is a cinch. And um, hmm, was that a rhyme? Posted by Darth Solo at PM. Labels: achievements , tips and tricks. Newer Post Older Post Home.

Last time I checked you get ported back to your original location once you exit instances after porting to one using the new features. User Info: RiderFaiz. There's always that battle for undercity quest chain where you go into a instanced version of org. My dog ate my signature, so I ate my dog.

Ok well I did the random group thing and after about 15 minutes, we finally had something. But it wouldn't load. Just stuck on the loading screen for a while and then pushed us back out.

Comments Comment by Varllok ty mr tips. Comment by Algnosis Thanks Tips! This was a great guide. Comment by At what level could this be soloable? Comment by 19 if twink 24 if regular. Comment by Bent To all alliance trying to get inside for those twink braces. This is not hard at all but it is VERY boring.

Here is how it's gonna work: First step: Get yourself inside. I did this on a level 8 Priest. It took 45minutes and 15 rez to get there. I am sorry to say that there s no easy way inside.

Take a look at this video to see wich way you need to run. If you take a look at Spirit Healer's location you will see her very close to Ogrimmar.

I think this Spirit Healer only works as a Horde. Beacause i had to start corpse running from Razor Hill. Can anyone please confirm this? Second step: Get a booster inside. This is piece of cake really, just get on you mount and run! You will outrun the guards and the hordes will not be excpecting you. Like seen on the movie above. Third step: Get your enchant. Comment by for a good 1 hour of fighting at the right lv it only has 4 rares that drop and only 2 of them drop per run!

Comment by If you have a horde twink that runs pre-mades you can take your group through this place and try and clear it before your time for your BG is up. My fastest time was 6 minutes or so : -Unitedtoheal 29 UD priest. Comment by speedhaxu Located in cleft of shadow in Orgimmar. Comment by what ever fjdd hdhdh dhdhdhdhdh. Comment by The very first Instance for any Horde Player.

It has some decent drops and the Trash Mobs drop a lot of greens that are very good at that level. Comment by Sibbe87 RFC is a nice little dungeon for those who want some nice beginner gear or some dungeon experience.

We don't know how she did it, but literally, around 20 or so Troggs aggro'd from the pit below and swarmed over us. It seems there's some kind of overlap or glitch near there, so watch yourselves.

Comment by is it possible to solo this instance as a lvl 19 human rouge who has like health. Comment by mojachee very simple instance with a good group,. However u need a few CC as the enemies are close together. Comment by aeleb just did this on my 70 hunter. Comment by It's real easy. It can get annoying in the 'crossroads' room a good way in where there are loads of enemies but you'll be ok. It's a great way for a group of level s to get a good start in WoW instances, as it shows you how challenging fighting almost all elites can be, it introduces the clear line between bosses and monsters, and it gives pretty fair drops.

It's not especially fun, but it's short enough. Additionally, an orc just outside in the Cleft gives you Slaying the Beast , which is also achieved with the achievement for RFC. This quest is obtained in Silvermoon City at lvl Comment by Agreed this is good place to skill enchanting up Comment by astomious May be more difficult for Alliance to get to, but Totally worth it!

Comment by uthalin can you really have 10 people in here at once or does 10 player limit mean something else? Comment by ruleofthumb Should be renamed to Ghetto Hearth Chasm. Comment by The Horde gets this and the Alliance gets the Stockades? You guys got lucky, at least the bosses here drop stuff, unlike the stockades where the only boss who drops something is a random rare spawn. It's really not too bad to get to.

I had to do 4 corpse runs and all in all it took me 20 minutes, and 6 of those are because I sat as a ghost watching this 70 Troll Hunter who had ganked me at the door. He sat there watching for me to revive, so I read a book until he got fed up. I got naked so didn't suffer any cost from repairs, and it was a lot of fun getting a look at Ogrimmar from the inside - I would recommend this to anyone. Comment by whats the minimum lvl u can enter this? Comment by Me and my mate just 2 manned ths instance.

He was a level 16 undead warrior and i am a level 15 tauren shaman was fun and we died times but gave us a decent challenge. One of them deaths is from the lava which i fell in because a noise made me jump and i walked backwards.

Comment by Danjen This is a great place to grind, especially as a twinked warrior. I was level 15 and used a Bloodied Arcanite Reaper and Polished Spaulders of Valor as well as a number of enchants, particularily Lifestealing on the axe.

You spam Rend and Sunder Armor on the mobs and they die really fast, and sometimes the lifestealing triple procced and healed for nearly life every few attacks. This takes a bit of set up, but it's really worth it to get past the first few tedious levels of a new toon. Comment by Best for farming linen cloth at that early tailoring stage, best to just do the half of the instance that has the troggs.

Then you leave and restart the instance. Being a mage, I just ported back to IF Now I'm a sad mage. Edit: also, you can't do it while your phased. Comment by The Achievements tab on this page shows Loremaster for both Horde and Alliance, however the quests tab doesn't show any Alliance quests. This, to me, would suggest there were no requirement to visit the instance to gain Loremaster Status as an Alliance player. There is, however, a requirement as mentioned above to kill the final boss for the Classic Dungeonmaster achievement.

Comment by Solod as a level 20 Beast Mastery hunter, at least up till Taragaman. I had a cat, so anyone with a tenacity pet turtle, bear, etc. I was in somewhat high gear a few higher-leveled quest rewards from Ghostlands, Tranquillen Champion Cloak, BoA shoulders and dual-wielding BoA weapons.

Keep Aspect of the Hawk on the whole time, unless you feel like you'll need to 1v1 an enemy without your pet, in which case you may want Monkey on. Just make sure your pet keeps aggro the whole time, don't be afraid to Disengage though be careful about falling into lava or, in my case, more enemies , and get ready to use CTRL-1 if an enemy starts attacking you.

I'd install Omen to see where you stand threatwise, but every hunter would be smart to have Omen. Starting off fights with a Multi-Shot is good, and when you're fighting mobs you should use multishot whenever it's available. As for Taragaman, he was a pushover. Make sure all the guard pats are gone before engaging, put a Mark on him and send your pet to start the fight.

Wait a couple of second, cast Mend Pet and Serpent Sting, then start bombarding him with auto-shots and arcane shots. Total, I used one healing potion, died once, and didn't even bother using traps. Not very tough. Comment by well my server is very desolate at the moment so what level is required for a normal belfadin to solo this place? Comment by Got here as alliance lvl 63 Human Pally, just take all gear off and mount up and ride in back gate, I died twice would have been once but died the first time right next to gaurd and when I came back to life bam only got about 10 feet and died again but then just mounted up and ran right to instance.

Comment by To get into Ragefire Chasm as an Alliance it's now a huge pain in the rear! You ready for all this? There are several quest chains you need to do.

But once all this is finally all done, you can get into Orgrimmar with out much hassle. I tried this just three days after patch 3. When I tried this, shortly after patch release for Wrath of the Lich King 3. Couldn't enter instance and got pwnd by guards and other horde players I couldn't do this easy low level dungeon with out doing this huge long quest chain first! Even after I did all this business with questing and running all over the place, I still had issues entering Ragefire Chasm.

Hope this helps and you have an easier time then I did! Happy hunting! Comment by After you are done with the stuff in Dragonblight. Go to Durotar Kalimdor to find Orgrimmar city. The best way I found in was from the Barrons West side entrance into city. Once you run past the guards follow the path past the Valley of Spirits and make the first left you can. Follow ramp up and make a sharp right into The Cleft of Shadow. The instance is directly across the room. I also did this very early in the morning so I didn't have to encounter any angry Horde players.

Once inside dungeon run south and around the U shape back up. Then head South East and kill Taragaman the Hungerer in the center for the four lava ponds. Enjoy your Ragefire Chasm achievement and good luck getting Classic Dungeonmaster achievement!

Comment by Soloed this Dungeon with my level 20 Demo Warlock. It's easy to do as long as you pace yourself; took me over an hour. And the gear on this toon isn't anything special either. I'd like to try it with a pally, i think it would be doable. Comment by Level 38 dwarf pally. Followed for the alliance group in as the guards chased them i was untouched.

Comment by to finish this instance will need 5 five full geared t9. Rumors say that soon it will be infested with goblins! Comment by shadosan As of 3. The system also teleport everyone directly inside. High level alliance players still must face the danger of orgrimmar. Comment by would you do the same thing for stormwind stockade?

Very easy inside of course if you are that level. The hard part is getting inside. I basically stripped down to my pants and legged it through. Died three times and the nearest Alliance Spirit Healer is miles away so expect a long run back each time if your as unlucky as me. Worth it though. Next step Wailing Caverns I think….. Comment by Gordhart There is no need for stealthing or corpserunning into Ragefire now.

Just use the Dungeon finder tool :. Comment by I did it the exact same way as shown in the video link above just minutes ago with my lvl 77 hunter. Of course - no Horde players where around, only mob. Same goes for the Horde and the Deadmines and the Stockade.

Comment by The new dungeon finder also means you cannot access this dungeon at lvl 13 anymore Ii have a lvl 14 shammy and I still cannot access the dungeon from the finder Can anyone confirm?

Comment by New players should be warned that because of the new Looking for Dungeon tool, it will be difficult to find a group that will be willing to run the entire dungeon with you. The reason being is that because Taragaman the Hungerer is considered the "boss" of this instance, players who have selected the random dungeon option will simply leave after killing him since they will have already been rewarded the Satchel of Helpful Goods. Best option would be to run with people you know or dare I say it have a level 80 player run you through the instance directly.

Quite a big difference. Edit: I forgot to accidently grammar. Hidden Enemies is picked up in Orgrimmar from Thrall who stands in in the western end of the westernmost building in The Valley of Wisdom.
